When you bring your instrument to Hands On Guitar Tech, it isn’t just left on a rack—it gets dedicated, professional workshop care. Having completed comprehensive training at the Blackwood Guitarworks Academy, I specialize in structural setup optimizations, precision detailing, and complex fret metallurgy.
Every instrument that lands on my bench is analyzed using high-end engineering callipers, precision straightedges, and advanced workshop intonation gear. My goal is simple: to strip away fret buzz, lower your action, and return an instrument that plays so effortlessly you won’t want to put it down.
Our Workshop Environment
Hands On Guitar Tech operates out of a private, dedicated, and climate-controlled home studio right here in Midland, Ontario. Because we operate strictly by appointment only, your instrument is never left in a chaotic public retail space or handled by multiple people. Your guitar goes straight onto a secure, clean workbench, receives my absolute undivided attention, and is stored safely in a strict temperature and humidity-monitored environment until it is returned to your hands.
